No, that's just stupid. Pwned was a typo of owned, your way makes no sense. Nobody ever said "ownt", that would be too little idiocy.

Originally, it was "owned". This was used by gamers of all calibures - to lamer CS players to...everybody else... - but then, as the legend goes, some guy made a Warcraft mod., and one of the messages that popped up when you got raped was supposed to be "owned".
Unfortunatly, he misspelled it as "pwned", and people took it up, thinking it was "the new thing".
...and it became The New Thing.

Why do I use it? Well, same way most people say shit like "OMG UR SO SMRT!!11!1!!!1!ONEONE!1!" when a moron makes an obvious deduction and think's he's brilliant.
Actually, I was more accustomed to "pwned" and "owned" than pwnt, and the first time some guy said it to me, I laughed my fucking ass off.
