That would be you:

Impossible wrote:Maybe there were other cities between Janwen and Estrana we don't know about?

And don't waste your time spouting off again that this is only a theory, and you're not claiming it's absolutely true. I know all this. I was simply evaluating the theory you suggested--i.e., that there were other destroyed cities, and that their existence could solve the problem of the difference in time scales. From your later comments ("Maybe there isn't just a single cycle"), I can assume that you have accepted my arguments that this solution is untenable.

What you are claiming is that there's very strong evidence that there is some form of cyclicity. (After all, it's made you "pretty damn certain.") There are suggestions of a cyclicity, but I prefer to reserve judgement. I have pointed out some facts that appear to run contrary to this theory and some that seem to support it. I have no agenda, except to work out what is going on.

Maybe the way really is repeating itself but in a different way? What im saying is that I think that the way is repeating itselfin different way but in the same principle? Like that the name janwn was changed to estrana. It doesn't really matter but its still not the same. and maybe in episode 6 (this is only a theory)gaius will throw the shadow sword and the two shady people will take it and see its not a shadow sword? Then kloe will come to the end of the way and will get closer to the cliff. Then gaius will go down the cliff and say: "i told you i'll kill you if you'll be back!" And then he'll push her down the cliff and then rhue will remember the wolf that pushed serena off the cliff. He'll then think that kloe is serena and will go search for her. He'll see the too people and ask them if they saw her. They'll give him the shadow sword and he'll go look for kloe. After a few hours/days/weeks/months?! traziun will find kloe in the river and help her get out (in episode 4 kloe says:"i knew it was you all the time" and then she says:"you helped me get out of the river back at delhara") and then she starts training at delhara and becomes a blood lyn and so on and so on... Do you think it could be possible?

Sage Of The Wise wrote:Dirk seems unlikely since when Dirk relises who Scatha was he really didn't take it as such a big deal. You'd think one of them would act a little more emotional towards the other.(and the fact that Dirk looks to be 300 years older then her) Strata on the other hand could be the one. We all know Strat's always looking for the best girl and if he was with Scatha in the past after she got burned he'd be sure to find a new girl once he got a look at her. This would explain Scathas hatred to men. Also Slade knows Strata from somewhere but doesn't remember where, it could be very likely that he remembers him being Scatha's lover before she was burned.

for ur information i remember scatha is slade's sister... their mother ordered slade to disfigure his sister, scatha... remember the scene epid 5 when rhue, dirk, scatha goes to the "end of the way" along with gaius? they met slade didnt they? thats where slade jumps. he remembers many things trying to make justice when he keeps doing the wrong things for his mother and for the council.

Perhaps it isn't the burning of cities that repeats but rather their being a large amount of monsters coming out of the pit that repeats. Perhaps every ten years these monsters come out along with other repititions. This would be explain wht Landorin is repeating itself. Also Estrana, Janwen, and the Landorin massacre are just examples of this happening.

I don't think Rhue is really a survivor of the Landorin becuase in the end of Ep5 Gaius talks to him. Rhue says "This is the Landorin" And Gaius says "Interesting..."

Wth he means by that? No clue but obviously something is fishy about that place.

What ever happened to the old theory of the "End of the Way" looking different for different people?

LANDORIN HAD BETTER NOT BE THE END OF THE WAY!!!!!! I'm hoping for AT LEAST two more episodes. I don't care about the waiting, as long as the Way continues until episode 7 or 8.

Who said the series ends when they get to the end of The Way?
And the Lord said unto John, "Come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.

Because the series is called THE WAY. Just think about my logic. The END OF THE WAY?

The Way WILL go for at least two more episodes. But your logic is pretty stupid. The place where Rhue and Gaius are at the end of E5 is, with quotation marks, "The End of the Way". IIRC, there was something being kept unknown about the End, which we may learn in E6. The game is far from over, anyway.

if this is actually the landorin stretch then it supports the way being a loop theory so there can be no end of the way

Gaius also said that USED to be the end of the Way. Eventually, the mists will reach an incredibly tall cliff that is impassable. Or they could reach an ocean. Plus, I thought you were ignoring me, Impossible.
