Judging from ep2, it would seem summer...

Well that wouldn't really explain the snowy mountains in Ep.5

Maybe it's Autumn (Fall for those non-AUS)

Mountains can have snow on them even during the summer because of the high altidues. -_-

Correction: Fall for Americans. Everyone else calls it by its proper name.

Yes, snow could pretty much fall all year round. I guess we could just assume it's Spring and be done with it.

Late Spring, Early Summer for the majority.

However the path leading up to the mountains in Ep5 indicate seasons has changed to early autumn (might by just the graphics set, but hey)

Rhue spent an indeterminable amount of time in Lyrra's fist (They travelled for some time, never clear how long)

He spent a few days between Lide and Marna in Ep2

He may have also spent a very long time in the Pits (A day or so is the time estimated if Scatha is guiding you :P). He was apparently down there more than a day, or he wouldn't have been so discouraged.

Laideoria was a few days after Estrana.

He was out of it after the Slade plunge for a long time.

I think Lun is trying to potray the Way as HUGE, which is why he creates time gaps. Realistically for the Way, you wouldn't find 4 cities within 20 days of travelling. A city was more or less a very rare occurance (every few months). I suspect The Way took place over a much longer period of time, like a year or so.

The only true time lapses are before Marna Stretch and after the Plunge with Slade.

Rhue spent an indeterminable amount of time in Lyrra's fist (They travelled for some time, never clear how long)

Actually, it seemed to me like that journey was pretty much just over a single day. I could be wrong, but I didn't get the impression of them travelling for a very long time, at least not overnight.

He may have also spent a very long time in the Pits (A day or so is the time estimated if Scatha is guiding you). He was apparently down there more than a day, or he wouldn't have been so discouraged.

Rhue's journey in the Pits is definitely not certain, but we only got told "hours later" before the final scene, so Rhue probably only spent 2-4 hours away from Scatha. And Scatha would have gotten him out on the same day he started (it was most likely early on the next day after Rhue's journey with Slade)

Laideoria was a few days after Estrana.

Never mind that it's Laodicea. No, it wasn't. There's no mention of time passing, and Rhue would have already spoken to Cetsa if Laodicea weren't very shortly after Estrana. We didn't even get an "hours later", and the characters didn't act like they had been together that long.

Trust me, I made the timeline, and those were some of the main issues in it. There's probably a week-ish skipped in the story, but I doubt it's much more.

Well I was under the impression that The Way had no seasons.
Dirk says something along the lines of "The way always amazes me" Or at least aknowledges that the way is unpredicatable in some way.

I thought that might be a tiny hint that all our theories could be nought because Lun has full controll over the world :P But then Fwacho said that 80% of the current questions of the way have had their answers theoried. We just have to experiment and see which ones fit best with other theories..
Even though we may have theoried most of them, we don't really know in the end what will really happen, which of the theories will be true. So really, it's still a suprise when we find out. And the more questions will arise. It's like trying to kill a hydra. [But I can assure you it wont be one of mine! :P They're just crazy!]

This is really usefull anyway thanks Impossible!

Yeah, there's a lapse and then it goes to Cetsa's cell and pans around Estrana.
