Sega will never make a comeback because they're fucking retarded. They ruin everything. Most of the recent Sonic games have been crap. They hardly do much at all.
Of course, the Sega of old days and Sonic Team are still always awesome. At least Sonic Advance 3 was good recently...
The system I will prefer will be the one with the most games I want. The games I want are Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Super Smash Bros. and other Nintendo first-party games, so I'm going to prefer the Revolution. I'm not interested in piece-of-shit sports games (Mario spinoffs barely count as non-shit, just for being sports games) or racing games so realistic that there's no fucking point. So that leaves very little to actually interest me on the other systems, especially since Sony and Microsoft themselves don't really develop games - Nintendo are the only one of the companies dedicated to the games themselves.
It's a shame, all the games I WOULD want on those systems are made by third parties who could easily make those games on the Revolution as well. It's not enough for me to buy either of them because I simply don't have the money. If I somehow ever do, I'd consider a PS3, though. Or just a PStwo because they'll be so cheap.
I also like Nintendo because they actually attempt to do something new, rather than spend months on graphics and recycle some crappy old gameplay and call it good.
Trailers for everything. Get the hell over to IGN.
GCN,
DS,
GBA, there's a video for everything you could ever want. IGN are retards, though, so although their news page claims that they have the trailers for Electroplankton, Animal Crossing DS and Kirby Canvas Curse, they're not actually on the video pages. There's nothing special in any of those videos anyway (if you must, see them at
GameSpot).
I'll post some comments on a bunch of games later - Mario & Luigi 2, Metroid Prime Pinball, Super Mario Bros DS and Twilight Princess being a few major ones.
PGC also have a torrent of a hi-res version of the Zelda trailer. It looks way better than IGN's WMV crap, although it's something like three times the size (or nearly, anyway). >_<
