I don't know, it would be good if we could have a government but where they run the country based on the views/wishes of the people and not their own jumped-up beliefs.
In this day and age, an era where there are people who actually throw shit at each other, anything, could be possible.

Unfortunately idealism doesn't get you anywhere in life, it's not even a matter of the nature-of-man, it's about pre-established societal habits and beliefs. Memories of past civilizations would have to be erased for that kind of communistic anarchy to work, humanity already understands the allure of selfishness and theft.

For Anarchy to actually happen is laughable at best. It would not be everyone loving on anotherh elping eachother out. It would be every man for himself just like it has always been. It would be chaos.

Life itself is naturaly selfish, greeding, and craves power. There is no way to unteach that.

Of course, you know this for a fact. Fine. If you think that way, then you are a selfish person, and it's just that simple.

I know a lot of people who would be willing to to work for the good of the whole. And we're only a little different in that we're probably poorer than most.

Tynan and my ex-boyfriend have talked a lot about this, and he's converted Tynan to Anarchy. Tynan would now be willing to use the knowledge he's gained in medical school for free, should it ever come to that.

I think that most people want to do good, but are jilted by society to think that it's impossible. The fact is, we can make this society. This is not a movement for ignorant people, because ignorence is what encourages selfishness.

I agree with War, for Anarchy to actually happen is extremely unlikely. I can't see it ever happening.
And even if there are those select few willing to help everyone just for the sake of helping, it isn't that minority that will control the masses.

I agree. I think it is unlikely that anarchy will ever happen. But I'm willing to fight for utopia, and that's where we part ways.

A truly noble goal, But in the end, Will all the bloodshed be worth this "utopia" that may as well fail? the government has alerted our minds and brainwashed us for generations upon generations, we cannot truly know what will happen once we will be truly free, as our mind is not the same our ancestors had.

Freedom should rule a society, but Law should give it some guidelines.

If it's meant to fail, then at least we tried. If we succeed, then all the better. Or, we can continue to live in a corrupt society, and pretend everything is okay.

Anarchy is not chaos, though. In an anarchist society, people would agree not to do certain things, and if someone violated these agreed upon rules, they would be punished. In a sense, an anarchist society would have laws. For example, if the region I live in right now were to become anarchist all of a sudden, three generally agreed upon rules could be: No murder, no robbery, and no rape.
That generally covers all the bases. And if you don't like the rules of a particular region (or commune) it would be much easier to find a place that operates more to your taste.

What you're talking about can hardly be considered a form of anarchy, it is closer to true communism. Anarchy, regardless of definition, has implied chaos and disorder since the term was coined. The only difference I see between your version and true communism is that originally it was "Everything belongs to everyone" but for you it is "My stuff is mine, but you can share it". Failing to refer to your beliefs as communism makes it seem as if you are unwilling to acknownledge the previous failures of large scale true communism.

That kind of idealism only works in movies, novels and video games, and usually someone shows up to fuck with it anyway.

And Teen, I just realized that you somehow managed to sneak in another unprovoked life-story... STOP THAT! You can tell us about your life when we ask.

Communism's original goal was Anarchy. Anarchy is the lack of government, where communism is the ultimate of big government, meant to remove greed, or breed out selfishness. Communism is exactly what I'd like to avoid.

Outside of North America, Anarchy is often known as Libertarian Communism, which sounds like an oxymoron to most americans, but outside of the country, Libertarianism is anarchy, not buisness without government, like it is here.

Anarchy is not absence of order. The circle around the A represents order. Natural order, where no-one is kept down.

For me, the message isn't "This stuff is mine, but you can share it." My message is "This stuff is mine, and I will share it."

I want the best for humanity, so why should I cripple myself by saying "It isn't possible?", and then sit around, living with a system that's more damaging then helpful? It's just not going to happen.

That kind of idealism only works in movies, novels and video games, and usually someone shows up to fuck with it anyway.

At least I'm trying for a better system.

I have to say, I've been a fan of socialism and libertarianism for a while, but I honestly don't think the world is ready for such a system to be in place. Perhaps someday when the people of the world are driven by a desire to help their fellow man instead of a desire to amass wealth it would work, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

I thought the goal of communism, demochracy och anarchy was to have a society rules by the people, only the ways of getting there are different.

Oh well, personally I think that there are too many idiots for that kind of society to funciton, some people NEEd a dictator.
