At first I'd have said it's from Lufia, but what little of the harmony there is tells me it's not. It's most likely Motoi Sakuraba like earlier stated.

Definitely heard it. I think it's from Cave Story. In the town.

Again. Reminds me of a composer doesn't exactly imply that it is that composer.

Cave Story? I have no idea where you got that...

I don't know what it is, but it's definitely not from Cave Story. I have the entire Cave Story soundtrack in mp3 format, as well as the remixes, so I would know.
Shop smart, shop S-Mart.

<Jeramyu> I'm going to mistranslate our own anime, and piss ourselves off.

That one was from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, in Renado's house. I was thinking that might still be in the minds of people who played it, since it's fairly recent.

Yeah, I saw you in the user list and I was like "Shit! Spring or summer, spring or summer...", and then I remembered it was the first season music you hear, and the game starts in spring, so I quickly put it down.

Hm, now I WANT to make things hard, but then I'll just have to upload a lot more songs, and I have loads still unused that are probably too easy. Like this one:

Dry Dry Ruins - Paper Mario

I've literally just been waiting for a Paper Mario song.

Dry Dry Ruins from Paper Mario.

I was wondering when I'd be able to get a point.

Looks like you'll have to wait a little more, or try again.

Anyway, I didn't know that one since I didn't play the original Paper Mario, but I did play The Thousand Year Door, and I felt very strongly that it sounded very Paper-Mario-y. Oh well, good show.

A full English translation of Wonder Project J2 just came out. It isn't noteworthy enough to start a topic, but the music is great.
